Some parts can't go through standard parcel. Here's how we handle the unusual stuff — and what to expect.

Oversized / Freight (LTL)

Headers · Exhaust kits · Fuel cells · Mufflers > 48"

Items over 48 inches long or 70 lbs ship via LTL freight. These require a freight quote at checkout, take 4–7 business days, and need a physical delivery address (no PO Boxes).

Lift gate service available for +$45 if you don't have a forklift. Curbside delivery only — driver does not bring the pallet inside.

Hazmat Items

Batteries · Fluids · Aerosols · Some additives

Hazmat-classified items (lithium batteries, oils, fluids, flammable aerosols) ship via ground only and carry a $8–$32 hazmat surcharge set by the carrier.

These items cannot ship to Alaska, Hawaii, or any international destination by regulation. We'll flag this at checkout before you pay.

PO Boxes & APO/FPO

USPS-only addresses

Standard parcels under 20 lbs can ship to a PO Box via USPS Priority. UPS, FedEx, and freight do not deliver to PO Boxes.

APO/FPO military addresses are supported at standard domestic rates for items USPS will accept. Transit time is 7–14 days depending on destination.

Residential vs Commercial

Address surcharges

Most freight items carry a small residential surcharge ($25–$45) over commercial delivery, set by the carrier. This is shown at checkout, not after.

If your shop or business has a loading dock, select "Commercial" at checkout to skip the surcharge.

Holiday & Weather Delays

When the world gets in the way

We don't ship on US federal holidays. Orders placed on holidays ship the next business day. Carrier transit times exclude weekends and holidays.

Severe weather, carrier strikes, and other force majeure events may cause delays beyond our control. We'll notify you and reship free if a delivery is permanently lost.

Order Changes & Address Edits

Before it ships

We can edit shipping address, change shipping speed, or cancel an order up until it's picked up by the carrier — usually within a few hours of ordering.

Once tracking is live, address changes go through the carrier and may incur a $15–$20 reroute fee. Contact us immediately if you need to change something.

Shipping Questions, Answered
When will my order ship? +

Orders placed before 2 PM Pacific Time on a business day typically ship the same day. Orders placed after 2 PM, on weekends, or on US federal holidays ship the next business day.

You'll get a tracking number by email + SMS the moment the carrier scans the label — usually within minutes of pickup.

Is shipping really free over $99? +

Yes. Standard ground shipping is free on orders $99+ within the continental US (lower 48 states). Under $99, standard shipping is a flat $9.95.

Free shipping doesn't apply to expedited, 2-day, or overnight service — those are upgrades at the rates shown in the Shipping Options table above.

Oversized items, freight (LTL), and hazmat parts have their own shipping rates regardless of order value. We'll show the exact cost at checkout before you pay.

How long does delivery take? +

Transit time depends on your location and the service level you choose:

  • Standard (free over $99): 2–5 business days within continental US
  • Expedited: 2–3 business days
  • 2-Day Air: 2 business days, guaranteed
  • Overnight: Next business day if ordered by 2 PM PT
  • Alaska / Hawaii: 5–10 business days (USPS Priority)
  • Puerto Rico / USVI / Guam: 7–14 business days

Times exclude weekends and holidays. Severe weather and carrier delays can extend transit beyond our control — we'll notify you if we see an issue with your shipment.

Do you ship to PO Boxes? +

Yes, for small parcels. Items under 20 lbs that qualify for USPS Priority can ship to PO Boxes. We'll automatically route to USPS if you enter a PO Box address.

No, for freight items. Oversized items (headers, exhaust kits, etc.) ship via LTL freight or UPS/FedEx, none of which deliver to PO Boxes. You'll need a physical address.

APO/FPO military addresses are supported at standard domestic rates for USPS-eligible items.

Do you ship internationally? +

Yes, but on a quote basis. International shipping rates depend heavily on destination, weight, dimensions, and customs requirements.

Add the items to your cart, then email international@driven2parts.com with your cart contents and shipping address. We'll quote within 1 business day.

Buyer is responsible for all duties, taxes, and customs fees. Some items (hazmat, batteries, certain electronics) cannot ship internationally by regulation.

Why is my exhaust kit shipping freight? +

Long-tube headers, full exhaust systems, fuel cells, and large mufflers exceed standard parcel size limits (48 inches long or 70 lbs). These items have to ship via LTL freight on a pallet.

What that means for you:

  • Transit time: 4–7 business days (not 2–5)
  • Physical delivery address required (no PO Boxes)
  • Curbside delivery only — driver won't bring it inside
  • Lift gate service available for +$45 if you don't have a forklift
  • You (or someone) needs to be home to sign and inspect

We'll always flag freight shipments at checkout so there are no surprises.

What if my package never arrives? +

If tracking shows "delivered" but you don't have the package, wait 48 hours — carriers occasionally mark items delivered before they actually drop them. Check with neighbors and your mail room/property manager.

If it's still missing after 48 hours, contact us at support@driven2parts.com within 7 days of the "delivered" scan. We'll open a carrier investigation and either reship or refund — whichever you prefer.

If tracking goes silent for 7+ days mid-transit, we automatically flag the order and start an investigation on our end. You don't need to chase the carrier.

Can I change my shipping address after ordering? +

Before the order ships: Yes, no charge. Contact us within a few hours of ordering and we'll update the address in our system.

After the carrier picks it up: Address changes go through the carrier directly, and most carriers charge a $15–$20 reroute fee. We can usually help facilitate this, but the fee is passed through.

Best practice: double-check your address at checkout. We use the address exactly as entered — we don't auto-correct typos or normalize addresses.

Do you offer Saturday delivery? +

Yes, on overnight shipments — for an additional $15 Saturday delivery surcharge. Order by 2 PM PT on Friday and select "Overnight + Saturday" at checkout.

Saturday delivery isn't available for standard, expedited, or 2-Day service. And in some rural ZIP codes the carrier may not offer Saturday service even with the surcharge — we'll flag this at checkout.

What if I'm not home for delivery? +

For parcel shipments (UPS, FedEx, USPS): No signature required by default. The carrier will leave the package at your door or in your mail room. You can request signature-on- delivery during checkout for +$5.

For freight shipments: Someone must be present to inspect the pallet, sign for it, and unload (or have a forklift/ lift gate available). The carrier will call to schedule a delivery window. Missed appointments incur a redelivery fee.

Why was my order charged a hazmat fee? +

Certain parts are classified as hazardous materials by the Department of Transportation — lithium batteries, automotive fluids, flammable aerosols, some additives. Carriers charge a $8–$32 hazmat handling fee per package.

We pass this fee through at cost — we don't mark it up. The fee is shown at checkout before you pay so there are no surprises.

Hazmat items cannot ship to AK, HI, PR, or any international destination by regulation, and ship via ground only (no air service).

Do you ship to fleet or business addresses? +

Yes — and commercial addresses often skip the residential surcharge on freight shipments (saving $25–$45). At checkout, select "Commercial" if your address has a loading dock or business hours for delivery.
